Frequently asked questions
What certification do you hold?
We are certified with class-K certification — the highest level under Boverket's rules for certified control managers. This means we can take on everything from simple extensions to complex projects.
When is a certified control manager required?
The municipality decides for each case. A KA is commonly required for new builds, larger extensions and more extensive alterations. For straightforward notification-only measures, a KA is normally not required.
Can the contractor also be the KA?
No. The control manager must be independent of the person carrying out the building work, and may not control work that they have designed themselves.
What will it cost?
Extensions and straightforward projects start at SEK 12,900. A new house starts at SEK 19,900.
Do you work outside Torslanda?
Yes. Assignments are accepted across Gothenburg and the surrounding municipalities — for example Mölndal, Partille, Kungsbacka, Kungälv, Lerum, Ale, Härryda and Öckerö. Travel within 50 km (5 Swedish mil) of Gothenburg is included in the price. Farther afield (up to 70–80 km) is possible for an added travel cost in the quotation.
